I realize that today is July 3, but tomorrow is not only our country's Independence Day, but also the birthdays of my hubby as well as my brother. So, I want to acknowledge all three in this post!

I'm a very patriotic person, and although our country is going through some tough times right now, I am so thankful for the good ol' USA. I have lived in other countries, and although they were enjoyable experiences, there's nothing like home.

Since I retired a few years ago, Mondays are much easier to navigate--kinda like every day is Saturday! Have a great week, because things are opening up gradually, people are getting back to work, and covid cases are going down, FINALLY.  So much to be thankful for.

Do you think Mondays get a bum rap? Some folks are now back at work, while others are still sheltering in place, so it's hard to say overall. But . . . Mondays are rough when one works full time and has busy, activity-filled weekends!  I'm retired, so Mondays don't really affect me all that much.
