MONDAY INSIGHTS

 Monday is traditionally a rough day for working people and families. It’s hard to change gears again after the weekend, going back to work and/or school with a different schedule from  the weekend. 

Since I retired, Mondays a certainly a lot easier! Oh, I still wake up early, but I can now be more leisurely about getting ready for my day. My hubby, also a retired teacher (for a decade), subs four or five days a week in  local high schools. So that keeps busy, with holidays and summers off. Plus, he can choose when/where he wants to work!

Although March 20 is officially the first day of Spring, it has definitely “sprung” here in the South, with pollen coating everything ~ and the daffodils and azaleas have burst forth as well!

Doxies are a study in contrasts: stubborn/sweet, independent/loving, intelligent/silly, active/relaxed. Yes, we know they bark loudly, notice everything, want our food, and love being the center of attention—but those are all part of their charm. Who really wants just a stuffed animal for a pet? Doxies are the original interactive and loving pet. Kudos to them for all they are. ♥️
