🌺🌼🌸WEENIE DOG WEDNESDAY: SPRING HAS SPRUNG!🌺🌼🌸

Although March 20 is officially the first day of Spring, it has definitely “sprung” here in the South, with pollen coating everything ~ and the daffodils and azaleas have burst forth as well!

Some places are still experiencing snow and ice, so we hope our “spring-y” doxies will brighten your day! Happy Wednesday, FURiends!

SPRING HAS SPRUNG, DOXIE STYLE

Spring has definitely arrived here in Georgia, and the pollen as well! We might see a little more cold weather, but I'm hoping it won't freeze and spoil all the azaleas that are bursting forth all over our neighborhood.

Here are some cute doxies for you who are enjoying the nice weather:

"Oooooo! Where are my shades?"

Doxie relaxing his very own custom-sized,
environmentally-friendly tanning bed!

FLOWER CHILD

Duke loves to smell flowers, even if they aren't food!  In fact, he just loves to lollygag about in the yard when he's supposed to be doing his business.  Doxie lovers, you know whereof I speak!

A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME . . .

This rose is one of the first (actually, the second) to bloom in our front yard.  It is my favorite kind of rose:  dark red, velvety petals, shiny green leaves, classic scent, and yes, even thorns.

Those thorns make one appreciate the good attributes of a rose.  We tiptoe gingerly around those thorns, always very respectful of their sharpness--all the while, admiring the beauty and complexity of the bloom itself.

What lessons can be gleaned from merely admiring such a beauty of God's creation?

VALENTINE'S DAY AND TRUE LOVE

With Valentine's Day approaching, we hear all this talk about love, Cupid, roses, chocolates, and teddy bears (there's nothing wrong with any of that, mind you!).  We all enjoy giving gifts to those we love.  But let us remind ourselves about true love, that eternal love that God exemplifies toward His children:

Now that is true love to emulate!
