L to R: Annika, Alexa, moi, Asher, Clark ~ Easter 2018 in their yard |
We enjoyed our Resurrection Sunday with our daughter Holly's family; we attended their church where our son-in-law Philip is pastor, and our daughter Holly sang an Easter solo, "I've Just Seen Jesus," one of my all-time favorite songs.
Click on this link if you'd like to hear Holly's song:
Holly and I shared the cooking responsibilities, so we took a large pot of green beans and potatoes, and I also made a strawberry cake. Holly provided homemade chicken and dumplings, lima beans (or butter beans, as we call them in the South), cornbread, and iced tea. YUM YUM.
Kurt and Bethany will be coming in a few weeks, and boy, are we all anxious to see them! Holly and Philip's new house has a pole barn and hookup for an RV in their backyard, so that's where Kurt and Bethany will park their RV. Very convenient!
