FINALLY: HAPPY HOWL-O-WIENER!

Well, today's the day. Children all over America are looking forward to Halloween parties and dressing up in costumes. Many areas host Halloween parties for their communities, complete with the time-honored activities such as bobbing for apples, bean bag toss, lots of food, other games, and of course, costume contests.

When I was a child (many moons ago, I'll admit), we could go just about anywhere without worrying about harm. Some neighborhoods are still safe, but it's always a good idea these days for an adult to accompany the children on their forays for treats. Also inspect those treats before the kids partake of them.
