As a retired English teacher, I find this cartoon quite humorous. You might not find it all that funny at all. “To each his own,”right?
I have always loved grammar and syntax, even going so far as to enjoy diagramming sentences! I don’t think schools even require that exercise anymore. Too bad, because it does help students to understand the relationship between words in the sentence as well their roles. And that’s your grammar lesson for today, folks! 🤣
