Everyone who knows me knows how much I love everything about Christmas! Of course it’s the celebration of our Savior’s birth—that’s a given. But I also love the gift giving, the decorations, the traditional family meal, and the touch of kindness that’s more prevalent around us.
But there are those who have lost a loved one and will be going through this first holiday without them. Let’s remember them. Our family lost my brother’s wife in June, and my husband’s brother is at death’s door as I write. We are expecting that phone call at any moment. While sad, we kniw that both of thrm will be celebrating for eternity with the Lord—and that makes all the difference.
