On Saturday, I had the opportunity to speak about my books at a women’s ministry event at my church, along with two other local authors. I shared how I came to write my books from a doxie’s viewpoint, a little background on why I love the breed so much, and where I got my writing ideas. Women from all over our area attended, and many were not from our church.
We had good attendance, and ladies brought their favorite homemade cookies and copies of their recipes as well. It was a fun event, and I met talked to a number of women who bought my books and were from the area, dog lovers all.
