This is a photo of my first granddawg, Shadow. He was a good sport when they grandchildren dressed him up in various and sundry costumes. I think he kinda enjoyed the attention. Anyway, for those of you who don't know, Shadow was my inspiration for Sarge the doxie of THE DACHSHUND ESCAPADES books! Many of the adventures he wrote about actually happened in my family.
