Nobody ever said that dachshunds are docile, quiet creatures, right? Oh, they're quiet when they're sleeping, but they just have to be doing something, kinda like a small child.
Our doxie Duke, now nine years old, has slowed down a bit, but he still likes to play with the grandchildren, chase them, and enjoys tug-of-war and fetch--only he keeps the toy about an inch out of the human's reach! What a brat--but he gets by with it because he's still so cute!
