And that, folks, is the truth! Duke knows where treats are, how many he can have, and if a pill is hidden inside cheese.
When it comes to food, I don't think any breed of dog can outdo a doxie, do you? And, they get every drop of food out of a container, too. When I let Duke lick out my yogurt container, it ends up looking like it's never been used! Same for a plate, bowl, or platter--once that tongue of his touches it, NOTHING will be left on it. Our dishwasher loves Duke, because he gets the dishes ready to washing with no extra work.
Dachshunds . . . you gotta love 'em!
