Shadow, my doxie granddawg, is 14 years old today! Most folks already know, but for those who don't, he is the inspiration for my series, THE DACHSHUND ESCAPADES. Sarge the doxie was patterned after Shadow and some of his shenanigans.
He's quite a dawg, too, and most of the entertaining stories in my books were based upon Shadow and Duke, my doxie.
