Here’s a little collection of puppies being . . . well, puppies! Enjoy!
Dachshund Books for Dog Lovers! (Heartfelt Christian Fiction and Nonfiction)
Kindness seems to be a rare commodity these days. We all have days when things aren’t going our way, and those small acts of kindness—a smile, a cheery hello, holding a door open for us—often help.
Dogs just seem to know instinctively when their humans are sad or upset. I’ve read that pooches are masters of interpreting our facial expressions and body language, and they are. Have you ever caught your doxie just watching you as you go about your day!
So, I’ve said all that to say this: dogs know when we need a doggie kiss or a cuddle! Believe me, when I’ve felt down and my doxie jumped up in my lap and nuzzle me, it helped lift my spirits. Millions of dog owners will attest to that.
Man’s best friend loves us unconditionally, just like God does.
Dachshunds. . . you gotta love ‘em. Happy Friday and Happy weekend!
Our grandson Asher turned twelve last week, and I can hardly believe how quickly time has flown by. Every grandparent I know says the same thing!
He is a very special young man. He’s very intelligent, and when we talk, I don’t have to “talk down” to him like he’s a child—haven’t for years. He’s also kind and caring, loves life, enjoys learning, but also loves the outdoors, which includes fishing, camping, swimming, and runs everywhere. He always helps us by asking what he can do to help, and actually listens when we talk to him! In a word, he’s sweet.
I might add that he’s also 100% boy, too: he loves putting together LEGO sets, and his collections include model cars, Star Wars memorabilia, Marvel superheroes, and books—he loves to read.
We’re thankful we were able to move here to enjoy our grandchildren as they grow up—they’re the best! Here’s a recent picture of us with Asher and his sisters:
Thanks for reading this post from an indulgent grandma. Happy Wednesday!
Remember Ukraine and its beautiful people: moms, dads, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, children! They don’t deserve what’s happening to their beautiful country.
